The Financial Future Summit is coming to East London

Entrepreneurs growing their business in East London and surrounding areas won’t want to miss the upcoming Financial Future Summit. Since 2024 Chart Your Path hosted seven Financial Future Summits for entrepreneurs to take charge of their personal and business finance. After successfully running the summits in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Gqeberha, the summit is coming for the first time to East London on 25th July 2025.
Despite a tough economic environment and high unemployment, East London holds deep potential for courageous entrepreneurs. From manufacturing and tourism to property, media and professional services, there are opportunities for small business. However, it requires a concerted effort to develop small businesses, harness the opportunities, create employment and make a contribution to the local economy. The Financial Future Summit brings together selected entrepreneurs, funders, subject matter experts for an unforgettable day of inspiration and growth.
The summit kicks-off with entrepreneurs learning to build a future-fit business, in times of massive change. With half of the year gone, it is the perfect time to review and make changes for financial sustainability.
Thereafter we focus on the financial side of the business. According to Yusuf Mahomedy, a Chartered Accountant and founder of Chart Your Path, “Many businesses fail due to poor financial management and access to funding opportunities.
The summit is supported by leading financiers in the Eastern Cape, ABSA and TUHF.” Funders will unpack opportunities for asset finance, purchase orders, working capital and property development. Entrepreneurs operating in townships are covered with customised funding solutions for them.
Entrepreneurs will be equipped to practically manage their finances and accelerate cash flow. Leveraging cost-effective strategies and digital tools is the difference between staying in business and closing doors
The summit partners include well known businesses in East Londin, Warm Karos Connect, Bella Aqua and Imonti Cinematic Unit. Learning from local businesses is woven into the summit, with engaging fireside chats. Entrepreneurs will share their experiences and hard-won lessons. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to network and forge relationships with likeminded entrepreneurs.
