The best way to explore Robert Sobukwe is on foot. Just a short walk from the hotel is Reinet House, a beautifully preserved Cape Dutch parsonage built between 1805 and 1812. Today, it stands as one of the region’s most important cultural landmarks.

Visitors can explore original period furnishings, historic artefacts, and the celebrated Black Acorn grapevine planted in 1870, which still bears fruit today. Its broad stoeps and distinctive H-shaped design reveal the architectural ingenuity needed to thrive in the Karoo heat.
