Lilou, Lee, Alvin and Djibril join Courtnaé Paul for workshops before the Red Bull BC One South Africa National Final in Cape Town

Nineteen years after the historic Red Bull BC One World Final transformed Soweto’s Orlando Power Station into the centre of global breaking, world champions are returning to South Africa for the Red Bull BC One South Africa 2026 campaign.

The legendary 2007 event remains the only Red Bull BC One World Final ever hosted on African soil. Now, two-time world champion Lilou of France returns alongside Red Bull BC One All Stars Alvin of Colombia, Lee of the Netherlands and Djibril of Belgium.

Joining the international line-up is South Africa’s three-time national champion Courtnaé Paul, who will lead workshops across the country before defending her B-Girl title at the Red Bull BC One South Africa National Final in Cape Town on 5 September 2026.

The nationwide All-Star Tour gives emerging South African breakers the chance to train with some of the sport’s biggest names before the country’s top B-Boys and B-Girls battle for a place at the World Final in Toronto.

Red Bull BC One All Stars bring world-class experience to South Africa

The All-Star Tour brings together decades of breaking excellence.

Lilou remains one of only four B-Boys to win the Red Bull BC One World Final twice, claiming titles in 2005 and 2009. His return carries extra significance after competing at the landmark Soweto World Final in 2007.

Alvin has built a reputation for explosive air power and musicality, while Lee, a member of Dutch crew The Ruggeds, finished runner-up at the 2022 World Final before competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Belgium’s Djibril joins the tour after making his first World Final wildcard appearance in 2025, becoming known for his signature “diamond wrist” freezes.

Alongside them is Courtnaé Paul, South Africa’s reigning B-Girl champion, DJ and choreographer. She will teach throughout the tour before stepping back into competition at the National Final.
