School is out for the October break, so there’s no better way to spend quality time with family and friends than enjoying a fun movie on the big screen. Ster-Kinekor invites you to spend a few hours together, sharing a line-up of fun, adventure, and animated magic.

Naturally, these films are best enjoyed in the colourful Kids’ Cinemas, offering the ultimate family entertainment during the October school holiday movies season.

Ster-Kinekor’s Kids’ Cinemas: A Unique Movie Experience

While all the children’s films will be playing in select complexes across the country, younger kids will especially love the experience of enjoying the movie in the fun-filled Kids’ Cinema spaces.

These unique venues feature their own dedicated foyer area, complete with activity tables and a catering counter. Inside, you will find brightly coloured beanbag seats—bigger seats are placed at the back for adults—and a thrilling slide and ball pool.

You can find these specialised Kids’ Cinemas at Ster-Kinekor Sandton City, Fourways Mall, Carnival City, and Irene in Gauteng, as well as at Blue Route, V&A Waterfront, and Capegate in Cape Town.

The October School Holiday Movies Line-up

The October school holiday movie lineup is packed with exciting titles for kids and families alike. First up is the delightful Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, which invites younger audiences to step into the purr-fectly playful world of Gabby and her cat-tastic friends in this all-new adventure.

The film is bursting with colour, fun, and friendship, featuring Gabby as she heads out on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco.

A dilemma arises when Gabby’s most prized possession, her dollhouse, falls into the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera; consequently, Gabby must embark on an adventure through the real world to reunite the Gabby Cats and save the dollhouse before it’s too late.

Meet Your Favourites: Gabby’s Dollhouse Costume Tour
