South African comedian, television personality and podcaster Mpho “Popps” Modikoanehas been announced as the host of the 2026 Content Creator Awards, sponsored by Samsung. The awards will take place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at The Galleria in Sandton.

The annual event celebrates the creators, brands and agencies driving South Africa’s fast-growing creator economy. This year’s ceremony promises an evening of entertainment, industry recognition and standout digital talent.

Mpho Popps Brings His Signature Energy to the Stage
