This is the perfect office break, or a welcome coffee oasis for the weary shopper. With the lobby stairs leading onto 5thstreet, and double volume glass shopfronts, you can either stop by and grab a quick fix, or stay for lunch well into the afternoon while catching up on some work (read free, fast wifi). It’s both in the centre of Santon City Shopping centre, but detached enough to feel like you’ve escaped.
How to find it:
On the Nelson Mandela Walkway in Sandton City, it’s directly opposite Haagen Dasz, just down the escalators. Or pop in off 5thStreet, the Lobby of the Sandton Tower.
