Magical Marble Family Fest 2026: A World of Wonder

In a land not so far away, where colours turn their brightest and laughter lasts a little longer, a brand-new story is unfolding. The Magical Marble Family Fest is a first-of-its-kind, wonder-filled world made for families to play, explore and rediscover joy, together.

Taking place on 9 and 10 May 2026 at James & Ethel Gray Park, this extraordinary new chapter invites children, teens, parents, and grandparents into a place where imagination runs wild.

A Reimagined Universe

Presented by Grid Worldwide, G&G – The Goosebumps Company, The Marble Group, and Investec, the festival is a joyful spin-off of the celebrated Luxurious Marble Circus.

However, this time, the magic has been reimagined through the eyes of a child. A luxurious, multi-sensory universe awaits, filled with music, theatre, taste, movement, and mischief.

Families step into this enchanting world and meet a cast of fantastical characters, each bursting with personality.

For example, Nunu—the brave little leopard—welcomes young adventurers, while Zaza brings style as the fabulously chic trendsetter, and Slo Mo keeps things cool as the festival’s laid-back tortoise.

These beloved figures shape the heartbeat of the festival story. Together, they lead families through vibrant realms filled with curiosity, colour, and play.

Pockets of Delight

Across the festival grounds, explorers will encounter endless entertainment waiting to be discovered. Every corner hums with imagination, offering everything from soft play and silent discos to face painting, e-gaming, and glow-in-the-dark magic.

Expect playful sports arenas, challenge zones, and creative corners where hands can build, paint or design. High-energy spaces designed specifically for teens feature temporary tattoos, epic slides, and a U18 dance floor.

Additionally, explorers big and small can enjoy a custom-built carousel and a Willy Wonka-inspired sweet emporium complete with chocolate fountains and a candy wheel.

A Mother’s Day Special

Since Sunday coincides with Mother’s Day, explorers can look forward to a sprinkle of extra magic created especially for moms and minders.

Throughout the day, gentle surprises and playful moments will add an extra layer of warmth, inviting families to come together and celebrate those who make the world feel like home.

Firm favourites from The Luxurious Marble Circus return with a ticklesome twist. The Uncaged Carousel transforms into a bar for milkshakes and ‘funtails’, while the Pantry-inspired Tasting Station will serve an array of family-friendly eats.

Comfort and Safety

Care and comfort have been thoughtfully woven into the experience. Pram parking lots, nappy-changing nooks, and free-play areas are available under staff observation.

A tech-driven Together Tag system helps keep explorers safe with pre-loaded details, while tag-in-and-out systems monitor movement in the smaller explorer zones.

Inclusive design ensures every child, including those with additional needs, can enjoy the magic at their own pace.

For adults who are young at heart, double-decker bars with panoramic stage views offer a splash of something special. Meanwhile, at the centre of it all, a storybook-inspired main stage comes alive with local and international acts, comedy, and moments crafted to leave families spellbound.
