The Tashas Group’s Parisian-inspired food emporium opens its second South African location at Polofields Crossing

There is a new corner of Paris in Waterfall City. Le Parc Polofields, the second South African location from Tashas Group, opened at Polofields Crossing on 28 July 2026, bringing its distinctive blend of French-inspired food, artisan baking, fresh flowers and considered retail to one of Johannesburg’s fastest-growing communities.

Following the success of its Hyde Park location, Le Parc Polofields takes the concept a step further. With a generous outdoor garden, boules court and dinner offering, the new destination is designed to transition effortlessly from morning coffee and breakfast to leisurely lunches, afternoon treats and dinner with friends.

A little Paris in Waterfall City

Le Parc was created around the pleasures of everyday Parisian life. Think neighbourhood cafés, boulangeries filled with the scent of fresh bread, flower markets overflowing with colour and intimate boutiques filled with beautiful discoveries.

At Le Parc Polofields, these elements come together under one roof. Guests can settle in for breakfast, pick up a freshly baked sourdough, browse seasonal flowers and homeware, or pause over coffee and pâtisserie.

French-inspired food, artisan baking and pâtisserie

The food remains at the heart of the Le Parc experience. The Polofields menu continues the French-inspired all-day offering for which the brand is known, combining classic dishes with a contemporary approach.

Artisan breads, handcrafted pâtisserie and freshly baked treats are central to the experience. The location also features an exclusive pâtisserie collection created by award-winning pastry chef Jared Melamed of La Tarte Patisserie, available only at Le Parc.

For something a little more playful, Le Parc Polofields introduces Le Swirl, its take on soft serve. Velvety vanilla ice cream is paired with flavours including berry compote, lemon curd, caramel and chocolate, before being finished with toppings such as fudge, honeycomb brittle and toasted oat crumble.

Inspired by nostalgic favourites such as lemon meringue tart, chocolate cake and salted caramel honeycomb, Le Swirl brings a sense of fun to the Le Parc experience.

Le Parc’s South African expansion continues

The opening of Le Parc Polofields marks the second chapter in the brand’s expansion across South Africa. Following its Johannesburg locations at Hyde Park Corner and Polofields Crossing, Le Parc is set to open its first Cape Town location in Mouille Point in November 2026.

For Waterfall City, the arrival of Le Parc adds another sophisticated dining and lifestyle destination to the area. For the Tashas Group, it represents another step in bringing its interpretation of Parisian living to a growing South African audience.
