The KwaZulu-Natal South Coast continues to strengthen its reputation as one of South Africa’s top holiday destinations, with Clansthal’s acclaimed The Lazy Moose receiving double recognition at the 5th Durban Tourism Business Awards.

The award-winning boutique hotel secured second place in both the Best Boutique Hotel and Green Initiative categories, highlighting its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and sustainable hospitality.

Hosted by Durban Tourism, the annual awards celebrate excellence, innovation and resilience across the tourism industry. This year’s event attracted more than 400 entries, making the achievement even more significant as tourism businesses across the region continue to raise the bar.
