Dubai has never been a city to enter a new year quietly. For New Year’s Eve 2026, Atlantis Dubai is taking the celebration to another level, with Katy Perry announced as the headline performer for its Under The Stars Gala Dinner at Atlantis, The Palm.

The Grammy-nominated global superstar will take to the stage on 31 December for a night bringing together live music, world-class dining, Champagne and an impressive midnight fireworks display.

The announcement positions Atlantis Dubai as one of the destinations to watch for travellers planning an extravagant New Year’s Eve in the UAE.

Katy Perry Takes Centre Stage in Dubai

Known for global hits including Firework and Roar, Perry will provide the soundtrack to the final hours of 2026 as guests gather beneath the Dubai night sky.

The performance forms the centrepiece of Atlantis, The Palm’s annual Gala Dinner Under The Stars, which combines entertainment with an abundant buffet curated by world-class chefs, flowing Champagne and live music throughout the evening. At midnight, attention turns towards the sky for Atlantis Dubai’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display.

For families joining the celebration, the gala will also feature a dedicated children’s area, making the evening an option for both couples and families travelling to Dubai for the festive season.

A New Year’s Eve Gala Designed Around Luxury

Guests can select from several experiences depending on how close they want to be to the action.

The Golden Circle places guests directly in front of the stage and includes a personalised caviar box, unlimited white truffle service, premium beverages and access to the Gala Dinner buffet. Tickets are priced at AED 14,500 per person for guests aged 14 and above and AED 8,500 for children aged 13 and under.

The Rouge Circle, positioned close to the stage, begins with Champagne and canapés before guests enjoy unlimited access to the Gala Dinner buffet. Prices start at AED 10,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 7,500 for children aged four to 13, while children aged three and under attend complimentary.

Premium Seating includes Champagne and canapés, a 30-piece live band, entertainment and access to a buffet featuring indulgences such as lobster and caviar. Tickets are AED 8,500 for guests aged 14 and above and AED 6,500 for children aged four to 13.

The Ultimate Upgrade: Private Sky Suites

For guests looking to make the final night of the year particularly memorable, Atlantis is also offering private Sky Suitesoverlooking the stage and fireworks.

Each suite includes priority access, a private butler and curated dining, while guests can choose between different layouts for dining, lounging or cocktails. The experience also includes a caviar box, premium beverage options and access to the Gala Dinner buffet.

The Celestial Sky Suite is priced at AED 400,000 for up to 10 guests, while the Aurora Sky Suite costs AED 250,000 for up to 10 guests.

New Year’s Eve at Atlantis The Royal

The celebration extends beyond the main gala. Across Atlantis The Royal, several of the resort’s restaurants will host their own New Year’s Eve experiences, giving visitors the choice between à la carte dining and curated multi-course celebrations before the midnight fireworks.

At Carbone, classic Italian-American dining meets old-school glamour, with premium à la carte dining and live entertainment. Minimum spends range from AED 2,450 for indoor seating to AED 5,000 for front-row terrace seating.

Estiatorio Milos, from acclaimed chef Costas Spiliadis, will offer authentic Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by views of the Skyblaze fountain. Terrace seating carries a minimum spend of AED 5,000 per person, while indoor seating starts at AED 1,950.

Those wanting a more energetic evening can head to Ling Ling, where Pan-Asian cuisine, live entertainment and views across The Palm set the scene. The venue is reserved for guests aged 21 and over, with seating options ranging from AED 1,950 per person to terrace tables priced at AED 20,000 for up to six guests.

Persian dining and international cuisine are also part of the programme, with Ariana’s Persian Kitchen and Gastronomyoffering family-friendly alternatives. Gastronomy’s New Year’s Eve buffet will feature lobster, caviar, oysters and desserts, with prices starting at AED 1,650 for indoor adult seating.

And the Night Doesn’t End at Midnight

Dubai at midnight is really only the beginning.

Guests aged 21 and over can continue celebrating from 1am until 3am at after-parties across the Atlantis resorts. Nobu Dubai and En Fuego will host late-night celebrations at Atlantis, The Palm, while Ling Ling continues the party at Atlantis The Royal.

For international visitors, the celebration can also form part of a New Year’s stay at either Atlantis, The Palm or Atlantis The Royal, with guests able to choose between the Under The Stars Gala Dinner and selected New Year’s Eve restaurant experiences. A minimum length of stay applies.

With Katy Perry on stage, fireworks over The Palm, Champagne flowing and some of Dubai’s most celebrated restaurants joining the occasion, Atlantis Dubai is setting the scene for an appropriately extravagant farewell to 2026.
