The son of legendary French-Armenian eyewear pioneer Alain Mikli, Jérémy was introduced to bold, artistic frame design from childhood.

After first establishing himself as an accomplished ceramicist, he studied graphic and product design before launching Tarian in Paris in 2011.

His multidisciplinary background remains central to the brand’s identity, with ceramic artistry informing the texture, structure and tactile sophistication of every frame.

The name “Tarian” itself honours his family heritage, symbolising creative continuity while establishing a distinct new design voice.
