Johannesburg shoppers can experience Babylonstoren’s iconic gardens, wines and lifestyle products at Hyde Park Corner’s exclusive spring pop-up from 2 to 14 September 2026

This September, Johannesburg gets a taste of the Cape Winelands as Babylonstoren transforms Hyde Park Corner with an immersive spring installation inspired by one of South Africa’s most celebrated farms.

Running from 2 to 14 September 2026, Babylonstoren in Bloom forms the centrepiece of Hyde Park Corner’s Made for the Season campaign. It also marks Babylonstoren’s first activation of this kind inside a shopping centre.

Babylonstoren’s iconic Puff Adder walkway comes to Johannesburg

The installation draws inspiration from Babylonstoren’s famous Puff Adder walkway, recreating elements of the farm’s renowned gardens in the heart of Sandton.

Visitors can explore a sensory experience filled with seasonal blooms, fragrant displays and curated lifestyle products that capture the essence of the Cape Winelands.

A rare South African clivia takes centre stage

Adding another spring highlight is a spectacular display of clivias alongside the installation, including South Africa’s first double clivia, The Hyde Park Double.

The rare bloom was grown and bred by independent clivia grower André Swart and has a natural connection to Babylonstoren, where clivias are among the farm’s most anticipated spring attractions.

Hyde Park Corner’s spring shopping season begins

Tevye Block, General Manager of Hyde Park Corner, says the collaboration brings something distinctive to Johannesburg’s spring calendar.
