South African Pop Star Chooses Love, Family and Authenticity on Her Most Personal Release Yet

South African singer-songwriter Amy Jones is back with a powerful new single, “Again”, a deeply personal and uplifting track that showcases a new chapter in her musical journey. Available now on all major streaming platforms, the song follows the success of her hit single “Nobody”, which earned significant radio play across South Africa and reached the Radiomonitor Top 20 Airplay Chart earlier this year.

Produced by acclaimed hitmaker Luke Goliath, the song reunites Amy with the producer behind “Nobody”. While the previous release celebrated confidence and empowerment, “Again” dives deeper into themes of self-discovery, family and finding happiness in life’s simplest moments.

A Song About Choosing What Truly Matters

At its core, “Again” is about letting go of external expectations and embracing a more meaningful life.

“The inspiration behind ‘Again’ came from the idea of walking away from things that once felt like everything — the noise, the chaos, the attention, and even dreams I once thought defined me — and choosing something quieter, but far more real,” says Amy.

The track reflects her journey into motherhood and family life, celebrating the kind of love and fulfilment that outweighs fame, attention and material success.

A Collaboration with One of South Africa’s Rising Songwriters

The single was penned by talented South African songwriter Andre Graham, whose growing reputation has seen him work with artists including Lloyiso, Shekhinah and Paxton.

His songwriting perfectly complements Amy’s heartfelt delivery, resulting in a song that feels both intimate and universally relatable.
